What you’ll do
Tellet is growing. And as we scale, we need someone who keeps a sharp eye on the numbers and makes sure our financial foundation is solid.
As our Lead Finance & Control, you own the financial reporting, keep budgets and forecasts on track, and make sure the team always has clear, reliable insights to make decisions. You manage the relationship with our external accountant and are the go-to person for everything financial.
You don’t wait to be asked, you flag what matters and bring clarity to complexity.
Your responsibilities include:
Monthly close process and financial reporting (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)
Budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
Managing and coordinating with our external accountant
Ensuring compliance, audit readiness and solid internal controls
Client invoicing and monitoring outstanding payments
Translating financial data into clear insights for management
Identifying where financial processes can be sharper and more scalable
Who we’re looking for
You’re a financially sharp, hands-on professional who thrives in a fast-moving environment. You’re just as comfortable diving into the details as you are presenting insights to the wider team.
You recognise yourself in:
At least 3 years of experience in a financial or financial control role
Strong grasp of financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting
Accurate, proactive and you spot issues before they become problems
Experience working with external accountants and auditors
Comfortable with financial systems and Excel or Google Sheets
Strong communication skills in both Dutch and English
Affinity with a tech or SaaS environment is a plus
