First time using Tellet? Design your AI interview in less time than it takes to make an acceptable cup of coffee by following these simple steps:

Step 1. Give your AI interviewer a name. Doris, Deepak, Drew, whatever you fancy. This is who your participants will be responding to.

Step 2. Train the model. We’ve already made this sound more complex than it is – it’s just the same as briefing a researcher. Give Tellet useful context and information relevant to the task at hand, and the AI interviewer will have a better understanding of the area it’s working within.

Step 3. Ask questions that sound natural, as if you’re in the room with your participant and you want them to feel at ease. This makes the interview feel more like a chat, encouraging participants to open up.

Step 4. Set how many ‘probing questions’ you’d like our AI to ask in follow up to your questions. 1? 2? 7? It’s up to you. These questions are written on-the-fly by the AI interviewer, based on the response it’s just received.

Step 5. Test it. Take the interview yourself and share it with colleagues to make sure you’ve got the right flow, length and enough of that contextual information to make your interviews a success.
